1. Scope of Services

Solar Installers provides solar photovoltaic (PV) system design, supply, installation, and related consulting services. All work is governed by a signed proposal or contract.


2. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
  • Pricing may change due to material costs, permitting requirements, or site-specific conditions.
  • Final system specifications are subject to engineering approval.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required prior to ordering equipment.
  • Progress payments may be required at agreed milestones.
  • Final payment is due upon system commissioning or substantial completion.
  • Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law.

4. Permits & Utility Approval

We assist with permits and utility interconnection applications. Approval timelines are controlled by municipalities and utilities and cannot be guaranteed.


5. Installation Requirements

The client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the property
  • Ensure roof and structural integrity
  • Disclose known structural or electrical issues

Unforeseen site conditions may result in additional charges.


6. Warranties

Equipment

Covered under manufacturer warranties.

Workmanship

Solar Installers provides a workmanship warranty as specified in the signed agreement.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Acts of nature (storm, fire, flood)
  • Third-party damage
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Lack of maintenance

7. Performance Disclaimer

Energy production estimates are based on modeling software and historical weather data. Actual results may vary due to weather, shading, equipment performance, or utility grid conditions.

Financial savings are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Solar Installers is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
  • Liability shall not exceed the total contract amount paid.
  • We are not responsible for changes in government incentives or utility policies.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian law.
